Funding by the Free State

At present, the Free State of Saxony grants the Saxony Day host municipality a project-based allowance of 700,000 Euros to modernise its infrastructure. The call for tenders to host »Saxony Day« is published by the Saxon Official Gazette three years in advance. Municipalities then have until May  31 two years before the event to submit their application to the »Saxony Day« office.

Clubs, associations, institutions and other groups wanting to participate actively in Saxony Day must register with the respective host's organisational office. The relevant forms can be requested from the organisational office or the Saxony Day office by mail or print-out.
